What is the PBB Mobile App?
The PBB Mobile app allows users access to their accounts in PBB, and do transactions even while they are on the move. The said app can be downloaded and installed on Android and iOS mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets.
What is the PBB Internet Banking Personal?
The PBB Internet Banking Personal facility allows users to access their accounts in PBB through the internet by using a PC, laptop, IPAD, or a smart phone. You can access the PBB Internet Banking Personal through https://personal.pbb.com.ph/
How do I sign up for PBB Internet Banking Mobile?
Follow these simple steps:
- Go to the Apple App Store for iOS devices or Google Play Store for Android™ smartphones and tablets, and download the PBB Mobile app.
- Click “Self Registration”
- Follow the steps that will appear on the screen
Which types of mobile devices can I use to access the PBB Mobile app?
IOS and Android devices can both be used to access. Please note that a user can access the PBB Mobile app through one device at a time.
Can I install the PBB Mobile App and access my account in more than one (1) device?
Yes, but a user can access one device at a time; otherwise, the first login session will be closed.
What should I do if my mobile device gets lost or stolen?
You must call our Customer Service hotline 8363-3000 and request to CLOSE your PBB Internet Banking Mobile account.
- Visit the Branch to fill up the Customer Maintenance Instruction Form (CMIF) to change your mobile number, and the Post-Enrollment Change Request Form (PECRF) to unlock your account.
- You may now access your account and change your password by clicking “Forgot Password”
What are the minimum OS requirements for PBB Internet Banking Mobile?
The PBB Internet Banking Mobile app is supported by iOS ver. 11.0 and up, and Android ver. 10 and up.
Why can't I download the app via Google Play Store or App Store?
If you are encountering issues in downloading the app, it is either your Android or iOS operating system is out-dated, or your internet connection is unstable.
What should I do if I forget my username?
You can retrieve your username by clicking “Forgot Username”. You will be asked to enter your account number or customer ID (CIF number), & date of birth. Upon validation, you will receive an OTP on your registered phone device. Enter the correct OTP and your username will be sent to your registered mobile number.
How do I reset my password?
You can reset your password by clicking “Forgot Password”. You will be asked to enter your account number or customer ID (CIF number), & date of birth. Upon validation, you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter the correct OTP and you will be asked to enter your new password.
What happens if I enter the wrong username or password?
Your Mobile Banking Username account will be locked after five (5) consecutive incorrect log-in attempts.
How do I unlock my PBB Internet Banking Mobile username account?
Click “Enable User” and you will be asked to enter your account number or customer ID (CIF number), & date of birth. Upon validation, you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter the correct OTP and your username account will be enabled.
What transactions can I do with the PBB Internet Banking Personal/Mobile app?

Account Management
What types of PBB savings accounts can I open via the PBB mobile app?
You can open an account in the following products:
- SA PHP ATM
- SA PHP Passbook
- SA USD Passbook
- SA CNY Passbook
What types of accounts can I view and/or access via PBB mobile app?
You will be able to view and/or access a deposit account (savings, checking, and term deposit), trust investment, or loan account (Home/Auto/Salary/Makaguro Loan) via mobile banking.
Why can't I view my accounts on the PBB Mobile App?
Please check if you previously requested to un-enroll an account. If you requested for account un-enrollment and you want to retrieve access to the account, you must fill up the Post-Enrollment Change Request Form (PECRF) in your maintaining branch.
Can I delete or remove an account in my PBB Mobile App?
Yes. You must fill up the Post-Enrollment Change Request Form (PECRF) in your maintaining branch.
Will I be able to access all my accounts through PBB Internet Banking Personal/Mobile?
Yes. Upon self-registration, you will be able to access all your accounts through PBB Internet Banking Personal or PBB Internet Banking Mobile app.
Will I be able to access statements for my accounts?
Yes. You will have the option to choose the set of transactions you prefer to see from a drop down menu and be able to download an Excel or PDF file of said set of transactions.
If I have a current account, will I be able to request for chequebooks?
Yes
Will I be able to check the status of my issued cheques?
Yes, you may access a history of transactions specifically to cheques issued by you.
Will I be able to conduct a stop payment order (SPO)?
Yes. You must click “Stop Cheque” under “Accounts” module.
Can I open a Term Deposit account using my mobile banking app?
Yes. Just click “Open New Deposit” and provide the details. Make sure that you have an enrolled savings account from which you will source the funds for placement in a term deposit account.
Can I self-register in PBB Internet Banking Personal or PBB Internet Banking Mobile if my country of residence is outside the Philippines?
Yes. As long as you have an existing account in PBB, you may self-register in PBB Internet Banking Personal or PBB Internet Banking Mobile app
Can I open an account in in PBB Internet Banking Personal or PBB Internet Banking Mobile if my country of residence is outside the Philippines?
Yes. As long as you have an enrolled savings account from which you will source the funds for the new account that want to open.
Fund Transfer (InstaPay/PESOnet)
In sending/transferring funds, if I enter the wrong account number of the beneficiary, how can the funds be recovered?
As long as the account number you have entered is existing and valid, the fund transfer transaction shall be considered final. To avoid sending funds to the wrong recipient, we advise you to verify the details of your recipient’s account before making the actual transaction.
Is there a transaction limit for Instapay and PESONet:
For InstaPay, you can transfer up to Php50,000.00 per transaction. For PESONet, you can transfer up to Php500,000.00. The aggregate daily limit is Php500,000.00 (combined limit for InstaPay & PESONet).
Can I request for an increase/decrease in my daily fund transfer transaction limit?
Yes, you can request for a decrease in your daily fund transfer transaction limit thru your Mobile Banking app. If you wish to increase your daily limit, you must visit your branch and fill up the post-enrollment change request form.
Can I transfer any amount using INSTAPAY?
The minimum and maximum amounts per InstaPay fund transfer transaction is Php1.00 and Php50,000.00 respectively.
Can I transfer any amount using PESONet?
The minimum amount for PESONet fund transfer transaction is Php1.00. The maximum amount per fund transfer transaction is Php500,000.00.
Can I do fund transfer transactions even from outside the Philippines?
Yes, you can access your enrolled accounts and do fund transfer transactions via InstaPay or PESONet anywhere as long as you have internet access.
Will I be able to schedule a transfer?

Will I be able to see a history of my transfer transactions?
Yes
Bills Payment
Does ‘Bills Payment’ happen real-time?
For Bills Payment, the posting date of payment depends on the biller. You may contact your biller directly and inquire on the posting date of your payment.
How will I know if my biller/s are in the PBB Internet Banking Personal or PBB Internet Banking Mobile app?
Under “Bills Payment”, just click “Add New Biller” or “Pay New Biller” and click the search icon to view the list of billers that you can pay from any of your enrolled accounts.
How do I enroll my subscriber/customer account number for Meralco or other billers?
Under “Bills Payment’”, click “Add New Biller” and click the biller that you want to pay. You will be asked to encode your subscriber/customer account number for the said biller. Then, follow the next steps that you see on the screen.
Do I need to enroll the biller each time I need to pay my bill?
No. For your convenience, upon payment to a new biller, you can save the biller along with your subscription/customer account number by clicking “Add as Biller”.
Loans
Can I also view my loan account/s on PBB Internet Banking Personal or PBB Internet Banking Mobile app?
Yes, you can view details (outstanding balance, loan statement, among others) of your Home, Auto, or Makaguro loan account/s.
Can I apply for a loan?
Yes, you can apply for a Home Loan, Auto Loan, or Makaguro loan by clicking “Apply for Loan” under “Apply Online” in the main menu.
How will I know if my loan has been approved?
Upon submission of your application online, you will be updated via the ‘Service Request Tracker’ under “Apply Online” in the main menu. You will also be contacted by a PBB account officer for additional details, and/or for an update on your loan application.
Phishing
What is Phishing?
Phishing shall refer to the use of electronic communications such as e-mail to masquerade with trusted identity to capture sensitive information to gain access to accounts. It involves tricking customers into giving sensitive information through fraudulent emails or websites (source: BSP MORB)
Aside from the password, what other security features can I take advantage of?
An OTP will be sent via SMS to your registered mobile number for every transaction initiated using PBB mobile app. Security image and phrase are also applied when logging in for another level of security.
If I suspect that my Password has been breached or an unauthorized transaction has been done on my account/s, what should I do?
You must change or reset your PBB Internet Banking Personal or PBB Internet Banking Mobile password immediately. You must also report to your branch or call our Customer Service hotline for further assistance.
What should I do if I suddenly receive an OTP without logging in to my account?
We suggest that you do the following:
- Change your password immediately
- Report to your branch or call our Customer Service hotline
- Remember that you must not share the OTP with anyone
What are the security features of the PBB Internet Banking Personal and PBB Internet Banking Mobile?
The PBB Internet Banking Personal/Mobile adheres to security standards. The Bank adopts multi-layered security requirements for its app:
- The app requires Username and Password to authenticate valid users. Alternatively, the user may use biometrics (face recognition or finger print) or mPIN to access their account.
- The system uses multi-factor authentication (MFA).
- The system sends an SMS notification email for successful login and failed login attempts.
- The system sends an SMS confirmation for every successful financial transaction made.
