About PESONet
As part of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ National Retail Payment System (NRPS) framework, PESONet enables customers to transfer funds safely and efficiently across participating banks and electronic money issuers (EMIs) in Philippine Peso.
Through PESONet, Philippine Business Bank (PBB) customers can send and receive money conveniently, whether for personal, business, or corporate transactions.
1. What is PESONet?
PESONet is a high-value, non-time-sensitive electronic fund transfer service that allows customers to send and receive Philippine Peso funds between banks and EMIs participating in the PESONet network. It operates under the National Retail Payment System (NRPS) of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), designed to ensure a safe, efficient, and reliable retail payment system.
2. Who can use PESONet?
All existing PBB account holders are eligible to avail of PESONet services.
3. What types of accounts can I transfer to using PESONet?
You can transfer funds to individual, business, and corporate accounts maintained with any PESONet participating bank or EMI.
4. Is there a limit to the amount I can transfer via PESONet?
No. PESONet is a high-value fund transfer service, meaning there is no limit to the amount you can send.
5. When will my recipient receive the funds?
PESONet transactions are non-time-sensitive and are processed in three clearing cycles daily:
- 🕙 10:00 AM
- 🕐 1:00 PM
- 🕓 4:00 PM
Transactions made after 4:00 PM will be processed during the next clearing cycle.
6. How does PESONet process fund transfers?
PESONet follows the principle of “settled before credit,” which means funds are first posted to PBB’s Demand Deposit Account (DDA) with the BSP before they are credited to the customer’s account.
7. What are the transaction fees for PESONet?
💰 Outgoing transfers: ₱25.00 per transaction
✅ Incoming transfers: Free of charge
