AMY FOUNDATION DISTRIBUTE RELIEF ITEMS

AMY Foundation, Inc., the social arm of Philippine Business Bank (PBB) chaired by no less than renowned business tycoon Amb. Alfredo M. Yao, of the Zest-O Group of Companies, recently donated relief goods to the victims of Typhoon Ondoy.

Recipients of these relief items were families living in the surrounding areas of PBB branches which suffered heavily from the wrath of typhoon Ondoy. These included PBB branches located in Cainta, Marikina, Paso de Blas (Valenzuela), Malabon, Sta. Maria (Bulacan) and Antipolo. The Foundation likewise distributed bags of various relief goods  to the DSWD Chapter of Caloocan City through its head, Mr. Jimmy de Castro and Brgy. Silangan in Fairview, Quezon City. The Foundation’s scholars enrolled in its two partner schools, PUP and ICCT Colleges also received their share of relief goods.

Outpouring support from PBB employees and other concerned citizens extended their participation in the Foundation’s undertaking by donating cash, various goods such as biscuits, sardines, coffee, water, beverages and noodles and used clothing. Volunteers from GK (Galing ng Kababaihan), an organization whose members are female residents of Tambunting, Sta Cruz, Manila who are actively involved in various outreach programs as well as employees of Philippine Business Bank devoted their time in packing these aforementioned items.
